PRS Swamp Ash Special 1997

PRS Swamp Ash Special 1997

Isn't this one a beauty? This Swamp Ash Special by PRS (Core Edition, fully made in the US) has the nicest grain I've ever seen on a piece of ash, and that's before you get to the beautiful flamed maple neck. The hard tail version of this guitar is extremely hard to find and in my opinion very cool. It's from 1997 and in great shape. At 3,45 kg and with a fabulous neck profile, it's the one gutiar to get you through all gigs. On the electronics front, you get two humbuckers and a three way switch with tone and volume, but on pulling the tone knob, you add the out-of-phase middle pickup to each position. This gives you the classic tones of a humbucking guitar, as well as sparkly, funky tones you'd associate more with a strat. A collectible Paul Reed Smith guitar, as well as a great instrument for stage and studio.

Condition: very good with light play wear. There's some wear at the fingerboard lacquer around the 2nd and 3rd fret, some hardware tarnishing and a couple of small nicks.
Mods: none
Repairs: none
Includes: Warranty card and PRS gigbag (the original case was stolen).
