Höfner 4570 / President thinline from the 60s
Höfner made some wonderful hollow body guitars in the 60s and early 70s, with all the construction quality, liveliness and tones you'd expect from their now fabulously expensive American equivalents. The good bit is: You can still enjoy a fine example, like this 4570, without totally breaking the bank.
This is a thinline 4570, fully hollow with two truly amazing sounding Franz staple pickups. It's got a spruce top (probably solid). The 4570 is - except for some decorations - identical to the Höfner President, but was made for the domestic market. The action is good, it's nice to play and it's looking forward to create new jazz, blues or rock 'n roll music (or whatever else it is you want to do, though it probably isn't perfect for doom).
Condition: very good and all original except for one capacitor and a couple of solder blobs. Functioning perfectly
