Gibson Memphis ES-175 Figured from 2004
The ES-175 is Gibson's quintessential jazz guitar, heard on thousands of records. Its timeless shape defines the jazz guitar, and has inspired a great number of copies and adaptations. With its big box hollow body and twin humbucker setup, the Gibson ES-175 pure class, and this particular model is a great example: made in Gibson's now defunct Memphis factory, it's beautifully built, with deeply flamed maple and a lush gloss nitro finish. It's neck is highly comfortable, and the PAF humbuckers are perfect for more than just jazz. This ES-175 is in great shape and ready to play.
Condition: very good, only very light playing wear. It's got a small chip on the back of the headstock, and two small holes (on the neck heel and on the side - perhaps from repositioned strap buttons) which have been plugged and relacquered.
Mods / Repairs: this guitar is fully original, it's got two small holes (on the neck heel and on the side - perhaps from repositioned strap buttons) which have been plugged and relacquered.
